The Headland House series was a small format booklet published in 1946 by William C. Merrett, priced 1 shilling each. Hilda Richards was experimenting with yet another school, prior to being granted permission to continue with stories of Cliff House, etc. in 1947. William C Merrett also published the Sparshott series. You can read all three stories on the Friardale site in the story papers section.
