XERO, SILVIO A half-caste from the Pacific and one-time member of Black Peter’s gang. He murdered Black Peter in a beach brawl and then followed Ben Dance to England to try and gain Black Peter’s treasure map. He captured Ben Dance back in the Pacific but Dance was freed by the Greyfriars’ juniors. He found the map that Redwing threw overboard rather than let Soames have it, and made his way to Caca Island. He was made a prisoner by the Friars after having captured Bunter and Wharton. Left aboard the yacht he was freed by Talupa, but shot and killed by Ben Dance in self defence. [M 1017-1024].
